The Dancer Download is mailed to 51,912 (this number is updated here, on this page every month) opt in subscribers on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The subscribers on this list are comprised of approximately 5% teachers and 95% students. Both advertising and editorial deadlines for inclusion in the Download are due on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

There are two advertising options within the Download.

  • The 'LARGE TOP BANNER"
    • The Banner is exactly 714 pixels wide and 337 pixels tall. When the email blast is opened, the banner has top placement, and cannot be missed due to its large width and height.
    • The Cost of the top advertising position within the blast is $1,250 per month and has proven itself as a very effective advertising vehicle. During the first month, this position garnered an astounding 8.6% click through ratio (738 Clicks to the advertiser's website) based on the total amount of emails opened (8,571).
    • Example:

  • The "LARGE RECTANGLE + 50 Words"
    • This rectangle ad is 226 pixels wide by 280 pixels tall and is placed within the content of the Download with your 50 words of text (links etc. are included in the word count).
    • The cost of this advertising option is $250 per month.

Commissions, Discounts, and Billing...

  • Commissions: 15% of gross, exclusive of production charge, to all recognized agencies only on invoices paid within 30 days. 
  • Dancer offers a 5% discount to advertisers who accompany orders with cash, except first ad.
  • Billing: Bills are rendered on publication date.
  • Terms: Net due in 30 days, except first campaign, which is due in advance.
  • Finance Charges: Any account outstanding more than 30 days from date of invoice will be charged 1 1/2% per month finance charge on the net amount due.
