Headliners awarded exclusive rights to qualify American Team.
Headliners was honored this year when awarded the exclusive rights to qualify an American Team to compete for the "Olympics of Dance", the World Showdance Championships. Of all the competitions in America, Headliners is the only competition that can offer dancers a way to compete with over 150 nations worldwide. During the 2001 Headliners tour, dancers and/or routines were nominated at every regional to compete at the American Team finals held on July 4th in Norfolk, Virginia. The event was hosted by Headliners and Mr. Bill Fowler, Senior Vice President of the International Dance Organization (IDO). Representing America in the World Championships are:
