Sarasota Ballet Principal Dancers to Perform in International Festival
Sarasota - Daniil Gaifullin and Stephanie Murrish, principal dancers of the Sarasota Ballet of Florida are scheduled to appear in the International Ballet Festival of Miami, to be held September 14 - 16. The International Festival is a presentation of the Miami Hispanic Ballet, under the artistic direction of Pedro
Pablo Pena.
Classically trained, Daniil Gaifullin and Stephanie Murrish, have been with the Sarasota Ballet for more than eight years. They recently received rave reviews for their interpretation of the title roles in the world premiere of Artistic Director Robert de Warren's exotic Persian ballet, "Zal & Rudabeh."
"The Sarasota Ballet is pleased to be invited to participate again this year in this prestigious festival," commented Robert de Warren, "as it welcomes artists from major American ballet companies, as well as dancers from South America and Europe."
The selections which Daniil Gaifullin and Stephanie Murrish, a husband and wife duo, will present are "Pas Classique," with choreography by Victor Gsovsky and music by Aubert, and "Melody of Love," with choreography by Gordeev and music by James Last, based on Argentine folkloric melodies.
