Opening Night Party Offers All-Out-Fun for Everyone
Snow Flurries in San Francisco Prior to Every Evening Performance
San Francisco - San Francisco Ballet, America's oldest professional ballet company and creator of the first American production of "Nutcracker" in 1944, continues the tradition by presenting thirty-five performances, as well as two Student Matinees of the holiday classic, at San Francisco's War Memorial Opera House, December 11 through 30, 2001.
"Nutcracker" Tickets
For all "Nutcracker" performances from December 11-24, tickets are $16 - $125. Tickets for "Nutcracker" performances December 26-30 range from $9 -$95. Starting on September 4, tickets may be purchased by phone through the Ticket Services Office at 415.865.2000, open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or online at www.sfballet.org. A service charge applies. Beginning November 26, patrons can purchase tickets in person at the Ballet Box Office, open Monday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m., located in the War Memorial Opera House, 301 Van Ness at Grove.
