African Dance & Drum Festival 2002 - Bantaba World Dance & Music
Join us in Boulder, Colorado, for five exciting days of African dancing and drumming focused on four countries in West Africa: Ghana, Guinea, Mali and Senegal.
CLASSES range from beginning to advanced in:
Ghanaian Dance, Kpanlogo drumming (Ghana), African Rhythms (variety of African rhythms), Gum Boot Dance ( S. Africa), Malian Dance, Djembe drumming (Mali) , Dounou (Dun Dun) drumming (Mali), Guinean Dance, Guinea Djembe, Djun Djun & Dance (Guinea), Krin Rhythms (Guinea), Sabar Dance and drumming (Senegal).

Intimate performance parties will be held in the evenings and the festival will climax with an ALL AFRICAN PERFORMANCE at the beautiful Boulder Theater in downtown Boulder. Some students will have the opportunity to perform with their teachers in this show. Specifics for the show are as follows:
