Inland Pacific Ballet

Claremont, CA - Inland Pacific Ballet's upcoming season includes some very exciting programs, the first of which begins in October at the historic Bridges Auditorium, the Claremont Colleges, where Inland Pacific Ballet is Company in Residence.

The Annual Gala is a premier social event and the opportunity to support Inland Pacific Ballet at the 5th annual Gala, planned for Saturday, October 1. This prestigious affair is IPB's major fundraising event of the year. After the tremendous success of last year's event the Gala will again be held at Bridges Auditorium which offers the opportunity of an exclusive sneak-preview performance of stunning repertory that will not be performed at any other time in the 2005-2006 Season. The Gala will also feature cocktails, dinner and dancing with Artists of the Ballet, and a live and silent auction. Tickets are $100 per person. After a weekend of packed performances in the 2004-2005 Season, Inland Pacific Ballet's original adaptation of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" will enjoy an expanded 2 weekend run from October 22-30 with four frightening performances. For the first time, audience members of all ages are encouraged to come to "Dracula" in costume to enhance the festive Halloween atmosphere. Choreographed by Arturo Fernandez, an up-and-coming San Francisco-based choreographer and Ballet Master of the world-renowned, Alonzo King's "LINES" Ballet, "Dracula" explores the mysteries of the undead and the struggle between the forces of good and evil. Spectacular sets by Nancy Seruto and a dramatic musical score, including composers such as Prokofiev, Saint-Saens and Mussorgsky, create the powerful gothic atmosphere for this captivating work.
