Sara Webb, principal dancer of the Houston Ballet, and Dominic Walsh, former principal dancer of the Houston Ballet, will appear as guest artists in the Greater York Youth Ballet's "Nutcracker" on Dec. 10-11 at the Strand Capitol Performing Arts Center in York, PA...Laura Valentin, principal dancer of the Balleteatro Nacional de Puerto Rico, and Olivier Wecxsteen, former principal dancer of the Boston Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, will appear as guest artists in the Brighton City Ballet's and Western Arkansas Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker."

Presented the first two weekends of December, the Carnegie Performing Arts Center's "Nutcracker" will take place in the historic Andrew Carnegie Library. Directed and choreographed by Monica Ryan, the cast engages over 100 local children and adults in this year's 30th annual production. The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre opens its season at New York City Center on Nov. 30th with a gala performance featuring a world premiere by Ronald K. Brown as well as the Ailey classic "Revelations," which will be performed with live music.
