Kozlov Dance International Presents the Holiday Classic The Nutcracker

This year marks the 13th year of Kozlov Dance International's production of "The Nutcracker." Leonid Kozlov, former principal dancer with both the Bolshoi and the New York City Ballet, first staged his production of the "Nutcracker" for the Australian Ballet at the Sydney Opera House in 1981.

As Director of Kozlov Dance International, he has been delighting audiences in the metropolitan New York area since 1993 with his dazzling choreography set to Tchaikovsky's unforgettable score, lavish costumes and scenery direct from the Bolshoi Theatre Workshop, and most notably the poise and professionalism of his talented young dancers.
Kozlov's "The Nutcracker" makes the perfect introduction to classical ballet for all ages. A Christmas tree grows tall before your eyes and a heroic nutcracker prince comes to life to battle an army of mice. Snowflakes dance on tiptoe, and an elegant Sugar Plum Fairy graciously entertains Clara and the Prince on their journey through the Land of the Sweets.

"The Nutcracker" will be performed at Ramsey High School Auditorium, Ramsey, New Jersey, on Sunday, December 4th at 12:30pm and 4:30pm and at the Russ Berrie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, at Ramapo College, Mahwah, New Jersey, on Sunday, December 18th at 12:30pm and 4:30pm. Tickets are $15, general admission for children and senior citizens and $20 general admission adults. Preferred seating for adults, children and senior citizens is $25.
