Tradition in Tap Series
The upcoming workshop in the 'Tradition In Tap - Series' will be ded-icated to the work and legacy of Tap Legend - Prof. LaVaughn Robinson.
Featuring: the Master himself assisted by his long time devoted dance partner - Ms. Germaine Ingram
And with: Ofer Ben, Prof. Nicole Hockenberry, Melba Huber, Lance Liles, Avi Miller, Germaine Salsberg, Vanessa Sonon, Prof. Hank Smith, & many more.
The workshop will be sponsored in part by Broadway Dance Center & Dance Teacher Magazine, and will take place at Nola Studios in New York City on November 4-6, 2005.
The program includes:
Three days of intensive tap experience.
Two original choreographies by the Master himself.
Honorary Master Classes by leading tap artists.
Tradition In Tap - Award Presentation.
Tap History Talks.
Video Clips.
Tap Technique.
For the first time the program will also include:
Separate set of classes for Young Tappers age 10-14, e.g. exposing them to the genius of the masters.
A 'Participants Showcase'.
