Dancers Selected to Represent the USA in World Competition

Hundreds of dancers from across the United States descended on Providence, Rhode Island in July seeking a coveted spot on Team USA. Representatives from IDO, the International Dance Organization were on hand to judge and preside over the events. Members included: Michael Wendt, IDO Vice President and organizer of the world event, Jadran Zivkovic, IDO Vice President and 2 members of the FVG in Riesa, Germany.

Honored for their success in providing a truly educational and professional event, the International Dance Organization (IDO), selected Headliners as the one competition in America where dancers could earn placement on Team USA in order to compete in world events along with 40 other countries. Dancers and routines are nominated at every Headliners regional competition. The finals are held each summer and run in accordance with IDO rules.
