Dear Owen,

Just a short note to tell you how much I enjoy reading Dancer, especially the articles written by Janice Barringer and Melba Huber.

I've had a chance to catch up on my reading this weekend and read the March issue cover to cover. GREAT! All of it - but especially Janice's "Pointe Shoes" information and Melba's "Pivotal Points in Dance Careers" discussion about motivation.

How I love my "family of dance"

Continued success to you and yours and Dancer Magazine, of course!

P.S. Thank you for the article on Joe Tremaine. He is a dance genius and a brilliant man.

Dear Mr. Goldman:

Might I mention that in your May Dance History calendar, there should be an entry that in 1989 the US Congress passed a resolution, signed by the President, which established May 25th each year as "National Tap Dance Day." One organization began because of that and celebrations are now held in five countries and several dozen American cities.

May your magazine continue stronger than ever.

Sincerely,
Carl Schlesinger
