Letters & E-mails
Dear Jo,
I want to thank you for taking time to read my article [that] I sent you about Stamford Center for the Arts Dancefest, and putting pictures of my dancers in your magazine (April 2006). However, I felt that the second paragraph of your description was inaccurate.
The article I submitted was about the camaraderie and friendships that develop among the twenty studio owners and their dancers in a week-long program that promotes education, creativity, and performance in a non-competitive environment. The article I wrote was in celebration of a successful dance festival that Carol Bryan created out of love and a sense of bringing diverse studios together.
I hope you will print this letter so that my wonderful and talented colleagues will know that my intention of the art-icle was to show how studios can come together and give their students a wonderful experience without going to competition. Unfortunately, the two paragraphs you edited and printed gave the impression that I submitted a press release for my studio.
With all best wishes,
Nancy Solomon

Dear Gilda [Morigi]:
The article was much more than I ever imagined it to be. Thank you for taking the time to make it so special.

Hi Gilda [Morigi],
I just wanted to drop you a short e-mail to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your article on Nancy King in the latest issue of Dancer. She is a good friend of mine for many years and was very kind to me when I first started teaching. The article was wonderful and I am sure that Nancy really appreciated it. She is a nice woman and has an impressive family. Hope all is well with you!
Sending warm regards,
Donna Farinella
