Broadway Dance Center’s THE PULSE Announces 2006-2007 Tour Dates Celebrity choreographers will teach in a city near you!
The Pulse, Broadway Dance Center's hip-hop and jazz dance workshop, will travel to seven cities this fall with an all-star choreographer line up including Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels and Shane Sparks from FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance," Cris Judd, Laurie Ann Gibson ("Making the Band") and Wade Robson (MTV's "The Wade Robson Project/You Got Served").
The Pulse is NOT A COMPETITION, but a workshop designed to give dancers the opportunity to train with the industry's hottest names in hip-hop and jazz. Each of these choreographers is involved in their own projects throughout the year, but we put them all on the same stage for YOU!

Each workshop offers several classes throughout the day and a few juniors only classes. Saturday features a Performance Showcase open to all participants that wish to be part of this all-student show. Sunday features several options: Scholarship Auditions, Autograph Session and a Faculty Showcase.
This workshop is an invaluable experience for all dancers planning to make a career out of commercial hip-hop or jazz. The Pulse instructors are all working choreographers, and may be the ones holding the next big audition. Dancers can brush up on their individual styles and maintain the ability to pick up combinations on the spot. This workshop provides a non-intimidating environment that allows dancers to work on all aspects of their hip-hop and jazz training including performance, auditioning and free-style skills.
