Ballet Master Vladimir Issaev proudly introduces his first DVD featuring the Vaganova Ballet Academy, "Vaganova Classes", demonstrating an authentic Vaganova Class. This DVD was recorded at the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and demonstrates a complete ballet class for an advanced level. The class is performed in the classroom where Aggripina Vaganova taught her Method that has been utilized by the greatest dancers in Ballet History. Filmed in documentary style, it is subtitled and not interactive. Presented at the end of the film is the only choreography created by Vaganova, a pas de deux for the ballet "Diana & Actaeon".
