Ideas for Dance, Volume 9
The brand new CD for dance from dancesounds features ten original tracks for creative work and warm-ups. The first six tracks are designed for KS3/4 creative term-time projects, with changes in dynamic within each piece to demonstrate different movement qualities. Topics are: The Balloon, Buried Treasure, On the Plains, Family Ties, Time Machine, and Chinese Dragon. Also featuring on the CD: a pop-style warm-up track to get students moving, 'swing and sway' for rhythmic exercises, an upbeat drum track for traveling sequences and a gentle cool down to finish. Ten tracks in total, all under 3 minutes.
All the music is composed, performed and programmed by Paul A. Jackson and is available to use for public performances without prior permission.
