Principal Shoes Contest Winners Announced

Nicole Evans-Brockett, communications and sales manager for Principal Shoes, has announced the winners of a free pair of Principal dance shoes from the Dancer magazine contest. Contestants entered emails explaining to Principal what is important when they choose ballet shoes.

As did the French artist, Paul Gauguin and the Belgian song writer and Producer of plays, Jacques Brel. They are buried side-by-side in a quaint, little cemetery on the island of Hiva 'Oa in French Polynesia.

"Principal Shoes by Chan Hon Goh are designed by professional dancers along with the medical community to offer the latest in shoe advancement. Principal shoes are quickly being recognized as the shoes of the future by offering supreme performance, beautiful esthetics and medically proven superior foot support," says company information.

Winner Leanna Sparacino of Texas saw the contest in the calendar of her Dancer subscription and sent in an entry. Leanna is a choreographer, teacher, and performer but she still takes classes to stay in shape. "I enjoy all styles of dance," says Leanna. "Fortunately I had a teacher (Patsy Swayze!) who encouraged us to excel at everything so when it came time to earn a living, we would be prepared." Leanna will receive a free pair of Principal ballet slippers.

Evans-Brockett at Principal explains that the winners will receive a customized fitting courtesy of the company's Principal Shoe fitter, Lynne Wilson. "Local Principal Shoes' winners come to my home for a personal fitting," says Wilson . "Long distance winners discuss their needs and preferences with me by phone and several sizes and styles are shipped to them so that they may select the perfect shoes."

Also winning a pair of Principal shoes is Nicci Cassara who was unavailable at press time.

Evans-Brockett says that Principal will absolutely be running another contest. So watch the Dancer's Calendar every month for your chance to win the next pair of Principal Shoes by Chan Hon Goh!
