Miami Festival
The 12th annual Ballet Festival in Miami will showcase winners of international competitions including the American Ballet Competition held yearly in Miami. Founded by Pedro Pablo Peña, the Festival was established in 1993. In 2005, Miami-Dade County honored him on September 26, as "El dia de Pedro Pablo Peña and gave him the "Key to the City."
Young artists from American Ballet Competition, Brian Ruiz, best Male, Division II and Simon Wexler, Recognition Award, Division II, will appear. For more information: www.miamihispanicballet.com.
