The Harid Conservatory Offers Saturday Master Classes This Fall

Once again this fall, The Harid Conservatory will offer a series of ballet and modern dance Master Classes for South Florida's aspiring young dancers. The classes, open to students 12-15 years of age who have studied ballet for a minimum of two years, will be held on three Saturdays: September 15, September 29, and October 13. Ballet, pointe or pas de deux, and modern dance will be taught on each of the three days by HARID's full-time and adjunct faculty.

"The Saturday Master Classes will give local dancers the opportunity to study with HARID's faculty." explains director Gordon Wright. "By attending all three workshops, the dancers will be able to work with each of our three ballet teachers, plus our modern dance instructor. Those who can't attend all three Saturdays can choose the one or two that best suit their schedules and interests."

The fee for each Saturday is $40.00 or $105.00 for all three. For more information or to register, visit The Harid Conservatory at 2285 Potomac Road in Boca Raton or call 561- 997-2677.

The Harid Conservatory is a privately-funded, not-for-profit educational institution that provides superior professional training for gifted young dancers. All residential students receive full-tuition scholarships for study during the academic year. HARID is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance and is recognized as a high school by the State of Florida.
