Warming Trend

Too many tricks and treats on Halloween? If you feel like wearing your misbehavior on your sleeve, or at least you pulse points, Sean Combs (a.k.a. Diddy) has the fragrance for you. But he sees the femme who wears Unforgivable Woman as strong and passionate, someone who makes an impact when she enters a room - always good for a dancer. The creamy floral scent has bright top notes of grapefruit, cassis and jasmine with warm undercurrents of patchouli, amber and vanilla in a beautifully balanced blend to heat up a chilly November night. $55 for 2.5 oz. At department stores or www.seanjeanfragrances.com

The eyes have it now!

There's a myth out there that you can't wear contacts if you have astigmatism, but according to Hollywood optometrist Dr. Elise Briscoe, that's just not true. Dr. Briscoe, who treats a host of A-list celebrities and sports stars, is a fan of the Acuvue Advance contact lenses for astigmatism that are specially designed to stay in place. She also recommends eating hydrating foods such as walnuts and olives (good wintertime snacks), and wearing UV sun blockers, which these lenses also provide. Makeup artist Mally Roncal adds: Always put lenses in before applying makeup and never line lower lids when wearing them. Poor vision can affect performance so it's best to see an eye care professional to have any vision problems properly diagnosed. But check out www.beattheblur.com which has a useful self-evaluation tool; you can even download a certificate for a free trial pair of lenses.

No fumble Bumble

The best thing about Bumble and Bumble's Does It All styling spray is that it's virtually impossible to overuse. That's good news when you're using it night after night in performance. But true to its name, it also builds volume and gives great grip for back-combing, pinning or curling. It also helps hair respond to heat tools, rather than adding to the frizz-and-fry. We even changed our style mid-stream and it held the new 'do even though we'd brushed through. Cool! $14.00 for 4 oz. Call 888-7Bumble to order, or go to www.Bumbleandbumble.com for a Bb. network salon near you.

Throw on the towel!

It's time for the cool down. So throw down Plank's new yoga towel over your mat before you collapse into child's pose - or any other form of relaxation. You might, for instance, want to wrap yourself up on one of these generously sized (26" x 68") all-organic towels after you get out of a steamy shower. Made of 75% bamboo and 25% cotton, the towels are lightweight, super soft, fast drying, and twice as absorbent as cotton! Plus, the bamboo gives them antibacterial and deodorizing properties - perfect post-workout. In silly chic "me me"(silver), "chocolate chocolate"(brown) or "bling bling" (gold) designs. The set includes the large towel and 2 8"x8" hand towel ($165). This fabric makes for a great non-bulky bathrobe too($395). At www.plankdesigns.com.

FEET TREAT: Get Intense

November is usually the kick-off month for winter's rough, dry skin. Circumvent the seasonal scaliness at the outset: grab Lubriderm's new Intense Skin Repair Body Cream, an ultra-rich therapeutic formula with time-released shea butter (how do they do that?) that penetrates and hydrates skin for 24 hours! Apply to elbows, knees, and yes, those heels and balls of feet. Fragrance-free so it won't clash with perfume and non-greasy so it won't get on clothes. Affordable and easy to find on any drugstore shelf. About $7.50 for a 5.oz tube.
